The customer

A global, AI-first audio entertainment platform at Series D, with operations across India, the US and Asia, and one of India's fastest-growing consumer tech companies in the audio-AI space.

The problem

The company needed leaders at the intersection of AI and machine learning, voice technology, and consumer product, globally scarce profiles, hired concurrently across CXO, research and growth functions. Its Asia expansion depended on a C-suite hire comfortable operating across markets.

The challenges

These are among the hardest profiles to source anywhere. The mandate was multi-function and multi-seniority, run in parallel, and every hire had to thrive in an AI-native environment rather than a conventional product org.

Our approach

We mapped global AI research and applied AI communities for the technical roles. For the business and growth roles, we focused on candidates with consumer-platform DNA who could operate inside an AI-native company.

How we ran it

A single multi-function, multi-seniority mandate run in parallel, with research talent and product talent sourced through different channels but held to one standard.

What was unique

We brought research-grade AI capability into a product-first company, a balance most searches get wrong in one direction or the other.

Outcome

Nine roles closed across three functions simultaneously. The Voice AI and Gen AI hires raised the company's technical ceiling, and Asia leadership landed on a timeline that enabled new market entry.
